Tanya Murphy is the President & CEO of The Society for ADHD and Co-Occurring Conditions, a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing ADHD awareness, education, and advocacy with a focus on adults, faith-based communities, and historically marginalized populations. With over 30 years of leadership experience in advocacy, health policy, and organizational strategy, Tanya is a member of CHADD where she serves on the Board of Directors and the Governance Committee, she is a former Co-Chair of the Advocacy & Public Policy Committee. Tanya has served with national organizations including the American Hospital Association and the American Lung Association.
A Christian minister and certified biblical meditation teacher, she founded UnMasked ADHD, a faith-based support group that reminds adults they are “different, not broken.” She also leads Ryyst LLC, where she teaches women with ADHD to embrace rest through the integration of spiritual disciplines and evidence-based practices. Tanya is a Certified CBT Anxiety Coach, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Practitioner, and meditation teacher featured on InsightTimer.
