Peer Support Group | South Asian
Description
This peer support group is for South Asians who have ADHD, love someone with ADHD, or work in the field of ADHD. It is a safe and welcoming space for navigating the unique challenges and strengths of ADHD through the cultural lens of being South Asian. Participants will explore how cultural values, family dynamics, and societal expectations shape the ADHD experience within desi communities. Through open dialogue, attendees will share strategies for supporting themselves and their loved ones, addressing stigma around mental health, and advocating in personal and professional settings. This session fosters connection, understanding, and empowerment while celebrating neurodiversity and promoting mental wellness in South Asians.
