Peer Support Group | AuDHD: Sharing Experiences & Resources
Description
This peer support group session is for individuals with AuDHD (Autism + ADHD). This session will provide a welcoming space designed to foster understanding, connection, and sharing strategies for navigating life as a neurodivergent person. This group provides a supportive environment where participants can openly discuss their experiences, challenges, and wins with others who truly get it.
This support session will include a mix of structured discussion and open sharing. There will be an opportunity to explore topics like sensory overload, executive function struggles, time blindness, masking, social burnout, and Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD). Whether participants seek advice, validation, or simply a space to be themselves without judgment, they will be welcome in this session.
This group session will also include time for check-ins, focused discussion, and sharing of practical coping strategies. The presenter will also incorporate breaks to accommodate different sensory and attention needs, ensuring that everyone can engage in a way that feels comfortable.
This group is open to adults with AuDHD at any journey stage, whether they have just started learning about AuDHD or whether they have been diagnosed for years. Participants are welcome to come as they are, stim as they need, and connect with others.
