If you’ve been to the ADHD Talent Show before, you know what a fantastic event this is. It shows off the talents of so many conference attendees and speakers in a fun, therapeutic, bare-your-soul way. This special event is for amateurs, semi-pros, or professionals. We like a mix of all three. There is room for about 15 participants who will sing, dance, read poetry, do a reading, do a skit, do some comedy, show a video, or have some other talent to showcase in 2-7 minutes.
Sign up quickly if you’re interested in performing. You can bring a CD or MP3 to sing or play along with, so we’ll need your music in advance. Sometimes performers need some fun, background dancers or singers. If you’d like to be one of the CHADDACO Singers, let us know. In true ADHD fashion, we usually reserve one spot for a last-minute, very special or talented entry. Not everyone may get to perform, although we try to fit in as many people as possible. We apologize in advance if we cannot get you in the show.
If you are performing, the sound check will start two hours prior to the event. YOU MUST ATTEND THE SOUND CHECK to play in the show.
We are especially sensitive to those with performance anxiety, so if you want to do it, we’ll help you through it. This is a time to show off your creative side, make us laugh, make us cry, break through your fears, and create something special with the most supportive audience ever!
