Name
ADHD Coaches Peer Support Group
Description
Many ADHD coaches leave training energized and ready to help clients thrive. Then real coaching begins. Clients may arrive with familiar challenges, but navigating those challenges does not always follow a textbook protocol. Sessions unfold in complex, evolving ways that require discernment, reflection, and adaptability. Yet many coaches enter solo practice without consultation spaces, trusted colleagues, or on-going mentorship. The work can be deeply meaningful—and surprisingly isolating. This peer support group creates a structured, psychologically safe space for ADHD coaches to connect around the realities of coaching “in the wild.” We will begin with a brief poll identifying areas where participants feel least effective or most challenged as coaches. Breakout groups will then form around the topics receiving the most interest, allowing coaches to engage in focused peer dialogue. Depending on participant responses, discussions may explore topics such as navigating complex client situations, determining when referral to therapy is appropriate, or managing the entrepreneurial demands of private practice. Through facilitated peer dialogue, participants will exchange lived experience, practical strategies, and lessons learned from coaching work in practice. Coaches will leave with new professional connections, shared language for common challenges, and ideas for cultivating ongoing peer consultation and support.
