ADHD Minds Don’t Just Wander — They Wonder
Description
Mind wandering is often described as a core deficit in ADHD. However, emerging neuroscience suggests that the same exploratory cognitive processes associated with wandering attention may also support curiosity, imagination, and creative insight when properly engaged. This session introduces a neuroscience-informed framework showing how curiosity can activate motivational systems in the ADHD brain and lead to the deployment of strengths. Participants will explore practical strategies that harness curiosity to increase engagement, creativity, and meaningful action.
