Dr. Hernandez is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice who specializes in diagnosing and treating affective disorders, ADHD, and substance use disorders across the lifespan. Her research focuses on ADHD and co-occurring addictive disorders, including substance use and gambling disorders. In her private practice, she conducts diagnostic evaluations for Adult ADHD and provides integrative psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, informed by extensive ADHD research. Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and now parenting two young boys with ADHD, Dr. Hernandez remains committed to diversity and inclusion in clinical research, and advocates for addressing racial health disparities in ADHD diagnosis and treatment. She collaborates with leaders in ADHD communities to promote psychoeducation and foster future partnerships.
