Mike is a founding partner of ADHDandAddiction.com, college professor, musician, and sailor, who has lived most of his life at the intersection of ADHD and Addiction. He is the poster child, teenager, and adult with ADHD, along with being a recovering addict. With 5 years of hard-earned sobriety, Mike has been deeply engaged in the world of recovery and ADHD communities by participating in, hosting, and creating both recovery meetings and an ADHD support group. Realizing that ADHD creates unique challenges for those with addiction issues, his greatest passion was to bring these two worlds together. Looking back at a lifetime of miscommunications, misunderstandings, and missed opportunities, Mike desired to create a space for ADHD and Addiction specific recovery meetings that offer support, community, and program to ease the suffering caused by managing these two conditions together.
