Name
Peer Support Group | Entrepreneurs with ADHD
Description
Entrepreneurship is a path filled with uncertainty, requiring creativity, resilience, and an ability to adapt—qualities that individuals with ADHD often possess in abundance. However, the journey also presents unique challenges, such as maintaining focus, organizational planning, and time management, which can be particularly daunting for entrepreneurs with ADHD. This peer support group provides a forum for entrepreneurs to connect over shared experiences, offering insights into how ADHD traits can both challenge and contribute to entrepreneurial success.
Participants will engage in open discussions about the realities of entrepreneurship with ADHD, including strategies for harnessing their hyperfocus for innovation, methods for overcoming organizational challenges, and ways to embrace their neurodiversity as a competitive advantage. This session encourages the sharing of personal stories, tips, and resources, fostering a sense of community and mutual support.
Through guided discussion prompts, the group will explore topics such as the importance of self-awareness in identifying personal strengths and weaknesses, creating ADHD-friendly work environments, and the role of resilience in overcoming setbacks. Attendees will leave the session with a broader perspective on the ADHD-entrepreneur experience, equipped with new strategies for success and a network of peers who understand the unique dynamics of their entrepreneurial journey.
