Name
Poster Session | ADHD360: Utilizing remote objective ADHD assessment to monitor treatment effects
Description
QbCheck is a remote medical device utilized by clinicians with objective measurements of hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention to aid the assessment of ADHD. The aim was to evaluate the utility of QbCheck in remote monitoring treatment and symptom progression. Five parameters were calculated to measure Inattention, Impulsivity, and Hyperactivity, and used to calculate a Total Symptom Score (TSS), indicating probability of having ADHD. Significant improvement from baseline to post-treatment follow up in all measured parameters. QbCheck, which correlated with subjective rating scales, can effectively inform treatment decisions, whilst also remotely monitoring ADHD medication, symptom regulation, and treatment outcomes for individuals with ADHD, especially in a virtual health care service.
