Name
Peer Support Group | Black Women with ADHD
Description
Back for a fifth year, this peer support group continues to serve as an essential space for Black women with ADHD to gather, reflect, and recharge. This circle is a judgment-free zone. There is no need to explain your culture or justify your neurodivergence. Here, you’re understood. Black women with ADHD often carry the weight of unrealistic expectations expected to be strong, composed, and high-achieving while navigating brains that work outside the norm. This group offers space to unmask, share strategies, celebrate successes, and connect through laughter, honesty, and mutual support. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been managing ADHD for years, this space is for you. Whether you’re thriving or just holding it together, you’re welcome. Many past participants say this circle was the highlight of their conference experience, and some have built lasting friendships that extend well beyond the event. No PowerPoints, no pressure just a space to breathe, share, and be seen.
